Important
When registering for the InBody Mobile App and you see the Country Mobile Code Dropdown List, ensure “Éire +353” is selected. (“Éire +353” should already be preselected by default.) Then, when entering your mobile number in the “Mobile Number” field, enter your mobile number without “+353” and with the leading “0” before the “8”. For example, the 10-digit format must be “0871234567” without any additional spaces before, after or between digits. The mobile number you enter must be an exact match to your InBody Login ID.
If complete the above step incorrectly, your InBody Mobile App won’t work forever with your mobile number.

Troubleshooting – There’s No InBody Test Result To Load
If you see this message:
“There’s no InBody test result to load”.
There’s 3 possible causes as to why your InBody test results have failed to load.
Cause 1 – You Haven’t Done An InBody Scan After Mon 30/05/22
Your last InBody Scan must have been completed on or after Mon 30/05/22, as this is when TPC subscribed to the Lookin’Body Web software. If you have not done an InBody Scan on or after Mon 30/05/22, your InBody Results won’t show up on your InBody App. To resolve this issue, complete an InBody Scan on a Mon/Tue in the gym 15 minutes before your workout.
Cause 2 – Your Mobile Number On The InBody App & InBody Device Don’t Match
The mobile number you used to register for the InBody App doesn’t match the mobile number you used to register your Member ID on TPC’s InBody device.
The mobile numbers used to register on both the InBody App and InBody Device must be identical. That is, they must be 10 digits long and include a leading “0” before the first “8”. They must exclude the “353”, “+353” or “00353”. For example, the 10-digit format must be “0871234567” without any additional spaces before, after or between digits.
Troubleshooting – Entered Phone Number Incorrectly
1. Select “Settings” (circular “Ellipsis Icon” on the bottom-right of your phone screen) changing it from grey to red. Red indicates that the “Settings” tab is selected.
2. Under “User Information”, select “Primary User”.
3. Select the “Mobile Number” field.
4. You’ll be prompted with the message:
“Please input your new phone number,
And click “Send” button.
New authentication number will be sent to
Your email address.”
5. Enter your Mobile Number in the “Mobile Number” field without “+353” and with the leading “0” before the “8”?
6. Click “Send”.
7. You’ll be prompted with the message:
“Authentication code sent.”
8. Select: “Confirm”.
9. You’ll be prompted with the message:
“Please enter your authentication code.”
10. Open your email provider (without closing the InBody App) to retrieve the “Certification Number”. The email will have the subject line: “InBody Certification number” from “noreply@inbody.com via bnc3.mailjet.com” and will state the following:
“Dear Customer,
Your InBody certification number is : [6 digit number]
Best Regards,
InBody”
11. Select: “Confirm”.
12. You’ll be prompted with the message:
“Saved.”
13. Select: “Confirm”.
Cause 3 – Your Data May Need To Be Re-Synced
You may need to re-sync your data by following the steps below:
1. Select: “InBody Results” tab (top-right of phone screen).
2. When the “InBody Results” tab is selected, scroll down to the very bottom of the screen.
3. Select “🔄 Refresh Professional Device”.
4. If there’s no data to sync, you’ll be prompted with the message:
“No data to sync.
All available data from InBody has completed uploading.
If you are still unable to view some of your result(s), please check with your local facility to see if they are connected with our Lookin’Body Web services.”
Select: “Confirm”.
If your InBody test results have still failed to load after completing the 3 steps above…
Email billing@thephysiqueconsultants.com with the subject line: “InBody App Not Working”. We will then look into your InBody app issue for you.
Until we get your InBody App fixed, you can view your InBody Results on your InBody Results Sheet print outs in the gym.
Troubleshooting – Can’t Download Results Sheet
1. If you select “↓ Downward Download Icon” and are prompted with the message:
“Failed to Save image.”
This means you need to allow InBody App access to your Photo Library.
3. To resolve this problem go to Settings > Scroll down to “InBody” App > Select “Photos” > Select “Add Photos Only”.
4. Then, select “< InBody” on the top-left of your phone screen.
5. Then, select the Toggle On button to the right of “Bluetooth”, switching it from grey to green.
You’ll now be able to download your InBody Results Sheet into your Photo Library when you open the InBody App again.

8. Select “Done”.
If you completed the previous steps above and are still not getting notified of your InBody Scan Results, please also ensure that you’re logged into your Apple ID.

Tab 2 – Detail
Here you can see your Segmental Analysis for your Trunk, Left Arm, Right Arm, Left Leg & Right Leg for both:
1. Lean Body Mass
2. Fat
You’ll also see:
1. Skeletal Muscle/Fat Analysis
i. Weight (kg): Total sum of the body components (body water, protein, minerals, body fat) that make up our body.
ii. Skeletal Muscle Mass (kg): The muscles of our body are largely divided into cardiac muscle, visceral muscle, and skeletal muscle. Among these, the skeletal muscle is a muscle attached to the bone and can be increased through exercise. Muscles are less bulky compared to the same amount of body fat. Therefore, even with the same weight, if you have a lot of muscle, you will look stronger and slimmer.
iii. Body Fat Mass (“Fat Weight”) (kg): Refers to the amount of fat in the body. It is an energy storage that accumulates excess calories remaining in the body from food consumption, and is decomposed when necessary to create energy. Body fat can be classified into three types according to its location; subcutaneous fat accumulated underneath skin, visceral fat between organs, and intramuscular fat between muscles.
2. C, I & D Chart
3. Obesity Analysis
i. Body Mass Index (BMI): An index based on physical size which judges obesity only by height and weight. It does not take into account the composition of body composition from individuals, so the higher the weight, the higher the BMI comes out.
ii. Percent Body Fat (PBF): An item that determines actual obesity based on the ratio of body fat to weight. Standard body fat percentage is 15% of body weight for men and 23% of body weight for women.
4. Abdominal Obesity Analysis
i. Abdominal Fat Percentage: Determines whether or not you have abdominal obesity by dividing a waist circumference by a hip circumference. If Waist-Hip Ratio (WHR) is 0.90 or higher for men and 0.85 or higher for women, it is considered as abdominal obesity.
ii. Visceral Fat Level: Fat that accumulates between the intestines of the abdomen is called visceral fat. Visceral fat exists to protect the organs located in the abdomen, but excessive amounts can cause various adult diseases. If the Visceral Fat Level is 10 or higher, it is necessary to manage the visceral fat type abdominal obesity.
5. Body Water Analysis
i. Total Body Water (TBW): Sum of intracellular and extracellular water, which means the total body water in the body.
6. Comprehensive Analysis
i. Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) (kcal): Minimum energy needed for basic life activities such as heart rate, breathing, and body temperature control. BMR is proportional to muscle mass, so the more muscle you have, the higher it is. If your BMR is high, even if you consume the same amount, the amount stored as fat decreases, helping to maintain or lose weight.
When Skeletal Muscle Mass (SMM) increases, the amount of calories you “burn” increases, and therefore increases your Basal Metabolic Rate. The higher your Basal Metabolic Rate, the harder it is for you to gain fat.
7. Nutrition Analysis
i. Protein (kg): Protein is the building block of muscle along with body water. A lack of protein, in turn, indicates a lack of muscle and means poor nutrition.
ii. Mineral (kg): Represents the total amount of inorganic components dissolved in bones and body fluids. It is closely related to muscle mass, so if there is a lot of muscle content, the weight of the bones as well as the minerals increase accordingly.
iii. Bone Mineral Content (kg): Amount of minerals in bone.
iv. SMI (kg/m²): Sum of the muscle mass of the limbs, which corresponds to skeletal muscle, divided by the height square. Loss of muscle (sarcopenia) is now officially acknowledged as a chronic disease, and this item is used when diagnosing sarcopenia.
