At The Physique Consultants, we don’t believe in restrictive diets, supplements, meal replacement shakes, magic pills or potions. We aim to educate you on what works best for YOU. Not the celebrities, not the fads, but YOU. We want your nutrition to be fun, and sustainable, that’s what makes it stick.
We’ve got 3 principles that are the foundations of our Nutrition.
1: Eat Real Food
A lot of what we see when it comes to food, is in actual fact not food.
They’re products, with a wide array of chemicals, preservatives and nasties that were never meant for human consumption.
Are we against junk food and think that eating should be nothing but chicken and broccoli?
Which leads us onto our second point.
2: Make It Fun
Nutrition is one of those things that gets complicated and misunderstood by so many. Dieting may produce short term results but leaves you no where to go but backwards in the long run. That’s why at TPC our aim is to empower you to make better decisions when it comes to food without sacrificing the foods that you love.
Our approach is built around your lifestyle and schedule, then we employ a variety of whole foods with the addition of things you like to eat, in moderation. This enables you to get results and also enjoy your life outside of training. We focus on improving your relationship with food by following the mantra of flexible dieting, offering a flexible, feasible approach to dieting and eating to fit your macros using a system that lets you structure your own diet. We educate you on how to manage and track your macronutrients properly in order to achieve your body composition goal. What are Macros? Protein, Carbs and Fats. There we go, lesson one.
Our view for your nutrition is that it should be fun. There is no reason dreading every meal that you hate and living for the weekend were you can devour your glorious cheat meal. That is no way to live and at The Physique Consultants we do not condone that at all.
What we want for you to do is 90% of the time to eat according the plan that your coach will create with you. The other 10% of the time enjoy whatever it is that you choose to eat.
Because, just remember no one ever got fat after eating 1 donut, or 1 ice cream. It’s the consistency of eating this below average food that lead to that extra soft stuff that might be hanging around on your midsection.
It’s funny, this leads us to point number 3 in a roundabout way.
3: Consistency Is Key
Everything that you have heard about nutrition being the most important aspect when it comes to a body transformation, is true. Everyone has heard that abs are made in the kitchen, and this is a fact. Your dietary compliance is going to make or break your rate of progress.
Everything that we do with you in terms of your nutrition has got to be sustainable in order for you to be consistent with it.
The best diet is the one that you can stick to for a long term basis.
If not, we’re literally setting you up for failure.
Think about that for a moment, if you’ve ever been to see a Personal Trainer and they’ve given you some generic bland and boring meal plan that if you wore a blindfold, that you could in actual fact be eating cardboard because of the atrocity that they called a meal, do you really think you were going to succeed with that plan in the long term?
No, a big fat dry, bland no.
So in terms of consistency. We build it with you and let you pick the foods that you want to eat that are going to help you achieve your goals.
Because, if you choose these foods, the likelihood of you being consistent with it is much more likely than if we forced rubbery boiled meat misery upon you.

You Need To Do Assessments
How are you going to really know what types of results you’re getting if you’re not properly assessing your progress? We not only map out the path for you but we will make sure you’re on track with periodic body compositional assessments.
Sometimes how we look and feel does not reflect in what the scale is presenting us with. Use multiple progress trackers and reference points is important in being able to see the changes occurring throughout a body transformation. TPC has a number of different assessment tools we use to monitor, track and ensure that you’re hitting your nutritional goals, such as body fat percentage, progress photos, weight, using your clothes as a reference, for instance a pair of jeans, a shirt, dress size, or even a belt, fitness and strength progressions, energy level rating and the main assessment tool being our coaches.
