Our Philosophy

TPC was founded by John & Hugh Peters in 2015 to help change the world and from a desire to bring a level of education, accountability and results we felt was missing in the world of personal training. We know, it’s a very bold statement, but this is what drives our passion on a daily basis.

You see, we were fed up with the mediocrity of gyms and the fitness industry. We wanted TPC to be a place where you weren’t barraged with the ineffective messages or fads prevailing in the Irish fitness industry – just hard work, clear facts and goal-directed, systematic plans.  The over crowded, under equipped commercial gyms with no guidance or support.  The countless selfies and ego, along with the non welcoming judgement by self absorbed people. We wanted change, so, we decided that change starts with us so, and at last, TPC was born.

At TPC our philosophy is to do the common, uncommonly well. We want you to move well, in not only your daily life (pain free), but also when you are pushing yourself to your limits (performance). Our aim is to create and execute the most comprehensive and effective method of performance enhancement training, physical conditioning and personal training. Be careful – this is where the part where our passion spills over, and we have the propensity to leave behind the analytical approach, realism and established science that we apply to our clients! The purpose of this section is to show you why working with TPC is so different, and so effective.

Quite simply, we are obsessed in our dedication and enthusiasm to constantly improve our offering, and remain at the forefront of forward thinking, real-world application of all facets of physical performance. We are dedicated to 100% member satisfaction. We eat, sleep and breathe fitness and health and we’ve made it our priority to be on-call, 24-7 for our clients and it shows in the impressive results we accomplish for our clients and for ourselves.

We are unequalled in that we both walk the walk, and talk the talk – armchair experts abound (especially, sadly, in personal training), but you will find that we are highly qualified as well as academically tested coaches and trainers. If a trainer hasn’t the self-discipline, know-how or ingenuousness to accomplish their own fitness goals, how can they be expected to help a client accomplish theirs? The TPC Team is known for their appetite for knowledge – we love what we do, we travel all over the world to learn from the very best in their fields, are constantly on the lookout for ways to improve and hone our training approaches, train ourselves and undertake further study to ensure we are always at the cutting edge. After all – if you can’t train yourself, who can you train?

TPC was setup by two individuals who formerly trained people for free in their free time, because they are so passionate about improving the human body and performance. The fulfillment we feel from helping somebody accomplish their goals, be they a middle aged women or an elite athlete, is what pushes us forward incessantly. We believe that each person can effect positive change if they put their mind to it, and we will move heaven and earth to guarantee that each and every individual who works with us leaves a more confident, healthier and happier person.

TPC’s results-driven approach covers every aspect necessary to accomplish your goals, whether they involve sports performance, weight loss, or a healthier lifestyle. We never impose our own personal goals on our clients. We listen, advise and then coach with the client’s unique goal in mind. We are not here to put on a circus show or to be a rent-a-friend trainer. We are here to get a very unique task done. The other sections of this site stand for themselves as to how and why we’re different (and dare we say better!) and how we understand our clients’ different and many needs, so this is the section where we set aside some time for you to understand us. Our attitude is that we’ve only accomplished our goal when a client reaches theirs – all too often these are goals, which have been envisaged about for years but held back by unsatisfactory advice and an absence of self-belief.

We first educate you as an individual, and craft a plan that is going to fit in your lifestyle, we NEVER push our own agenda’s on our clients, we need to understand you as a person and exactly what you want to get out of this journey.
